A few ideas some courses are using to help run an efficient and profitable beverage cart ( any manufactures, not just ours)
On Course For Greater Profits
by the former managing editor of Golf Course News
A director of a golf golf course in Arizona, estimates the beverage cart may be the most profitable part of his golf operation, considering the amount of money it costs. “Spread out over its usable life, it returns a tremendous profit,” he says. “In the year 2000, we made $141,000 off the beverage carts. A cart costs $20,000, and its useful life is three to four years. That’s a pretty good return.”
We are a niche manufacturer specializing in beverage cart conversions primarily for the golf course industry.
Our focus is on building a quality product at best price and delivering it faster than the competition.
Our beverage cart conversion units are made of high strength, light weight materials wherever possible. Rust resistance is also a big focus for us. The less the beverage cart conversion weighs, the more sellable product it can carry.
A longer life cycle is easier to achieve with high strength, rust resistant materials. A color fast, insulated, dent resistant fiberglass cold storage, achieves this better, than anything on today’s market With a lower initial purchase price, plus longer life cycle, our beverage cart conversions bring better value to a whole new level.
The golf course industry is going through some challenging times. A stagnant to negative growth in customer base, coupled with growing competition for those customers, all revenue streams need to be under constant review. The beverage cart has opportunities that green fees do not.

By utilizing a component system, we can better control on our costs.
By taking the components to the next level we can build different models from our JR units right up to the Grande so you can control your costs by buying the right sized carts for your needs.
When sourcing materials and components Price to value focus is always top of mind for us, a lower initial cost is not always best. Case in point, we use an aluminum profile system with a thicker wall and an interior web to strengthen, this is heavier and stronger than the complete hollow tube system. Our aluminum joints are fastened by mechanical bushings and anchors, with very tight tolerances. The competition uses welded hollow tube aluminum, this procedure can save the manufacture money, on material and labor but the end user after a year or two can notice splits at the welds caused by the rolling and twisting of the beverage cart during it’s normal work cycle. Our method is a lot costlier, but we have beverage cart conversions operating for over 10 years now and no joint failure at all.
To us, lowest price does not mean a compromising quality of our end product, the best value is our driving factor. We control our overhead and marketing expenses. As to distribution costs, whenever possible we sell through a dealer network, that is already making the sales call, no need to double up sales costs that the courses end up paying. we can get the results we need to be more than competitive, building a great product delivering great value
